Please note: professional development credit is given only for sessions offered in the College of Education building

The Festival offers you opportunities to:

  • Participate in free seminars and workshops
  • Earn credits for Arizona Teacher Recertification
  • Collect free classroom materials
  • Purchase educational resources from local and national vendors
  • Interact face-to-face with renowned authors
  • Network informally with other educators
  • Experience the energy and excitement of literacy

Follow these simple steps to earn professional development credits at the Festival:

  1. Check in at the Professional Development booth located in the lobby of the College of Education building to receive your official professional development form
  2. Have your form stamped after each Festival session you attend
  3. Submit your stamped form at the Professional Development booth to receive your official College of Education certificate of hours
