In the spotlight: Lisa See's 'Snow Flower and the Secret Fan'

A feature film based on author Lisa See's 2005 book "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan" is in major theatrical release beginning this month. See will be one of the authors participating in the 2012 Tucson Festival of Books.

The film is scheduled to arrive in Tucson movie theaters on Aug. 5, according to the author's web site.
See's profile is high this summer: Her latest book, "Dreams of Joy," a sequel to "Shanghai Girls," debuted in June at No. 1 on the New York Times Bestseller list for hardcover fiction.
