When and where is the festival? March 13-15, 2009, on the University of Arizona campus in Tucson. How can I participate as an author? The registration deadline for independent authors wishing to participate in the Festival of Books was June 30. Authors can join a waiting list for spaces that may or may not become available. If you are an independent author and would like to be added to the waiting list for the Festival, please email bookfestival@pima.gov. How can I become a sponsor? Information for Exhibitors
More than 200 preschool and school-aged children in Pima County submitted an original story for the Youth Flash Fiction Writing Contest. The deadline to submit was Oct. 31. Awards will be made and finalists recognized March 14 at the festival.
